The Intensive program is for anyone, age 14 or older, who wants to improve their English skills. The program will cover conversation, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and more!
What We Offer
ESL Literacy: A Literacy class is for those who can't read or write in their native language and who don't speak English.
Beginner ESL: Beginner classes are for students speak, read, write, and understand very little English. Students learn basic survival English.
Intermediate ESL: Intermediate classes give students an opportunity to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
Advanced ESL: The Advanced class is for students who have good communication skills and may be preparing for work or post-secondary education.
Citizenship Preparation: Adults who have met the criteria for citizenship are offered free preparation classes three times a year. The classes meet once a week for six weeks in the afternoon or evening. Students need to be able to speak and read some English.
Morning classes: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Evening classes: Monday and Wednesday evenings or Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Six-week summer program is offered in July and August. Classes meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings or evenings. There is also a once a week conversation group for higher level students during the summer.
At registration, students will be asked to complete a registration form, take a speaking test and reading test, and get a class placement. The process takes about 1 hour. Children are not allowed at registration.
